Hi! My name is Brandt Krzenski. I am a surfer, musician, student, and, of course, a filmmaker. It began with a VHS camcorder my parents (especially my Dad and Uncles) would bring everywhere as I grew up in Southampton, New York, or wherever we traveled! I would be busy living the moments while my family filmed. From world trips to surfing big waves, to holidays, to everyday life, there was always a camera in the vicinity. When I would watch back these videos, they felt like magic and gave such a warm feeling to witness the moments being replayed in beautiful film format. My passion for photography and film didn’t start until I picked up my own camera (by taking my parents!) and just started shooting. I went from camcorders to action cameras to DSLR point and shoot to even wind-up Pentax photography! I would watch movies throughout my life, no matter the style, and think, “How did they shoot that? I want to try that!”. And then I did.

Editing for hours after a shoot from sunset until sunrise would be my favorite pastime. Lining up the beats of the story to the music under the video, or color grading the footage to make it cleaner. Every frame or scene can change the entire vibe of the video, depending on how you edit, and the possibilities are quite literally endless.

I began this project wanting to extend that same feeling to others without the hassle. All you have to do is live in the moment, and I will do the rest based on whatever vibe you wish to convey.
